PATTERSON – A 47-year-old Patterson man is facing felony charges of assault, attempted assault and criminal mischief following an armed standoff and barricade situation at the Fox Run condos off Bullet Hole Road in Patterson.
Nicholas Rodriguez was arrested after sheriff’s deputies responded to the complex Thursday evening after receiving a report that a man, later identified as Rodriguez, dressed in full camouflage, menaced a neighbor with what appeared to be a firearm.
“Upon arrival, deputies attempted to make contact with Rodriguez, who barricaded himself inside his residence and made statements suggesting he was in possession of an explosive device,” said Sheriff Brian Hess.
