SALLISAW, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — In quiet Sallisaw, school is a place where parents expect safety and trust. But one mother says that safety was shattered earlier this week at Eastside Elementary School.

NewsNation local affiliate KNWA/FOX24 sat down with a woman who asked to go by the name 'Beth', in order to conceal identity, says her 11-year-old fifth-grade son was sexually assaulted on school grounds, allegedly in view of staff and security cameras.
