After Michigan’s 31-13 loss to USC last weekend, we can all use a bit of a pick-me-up. This week’s Flashback Friday is just that — Michigan’s National Championship victory against the Washington Huskies.

Quarterback J.J. McCarthy completed 10 passes for 140 yards. Running back Blake Corum led the team with 21 carries for 135 yards and two touchdowns. Donovan Edwards had just six carries, but he made them count by going for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Michigan’s top receivers each had three catches — Roman Wilson had 54 yards, Cornelius Johnson had 25 yards, and Colston Loveland led pass-catchers with 64 yards.
