Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs will miss Sunday's game against Washington after entering concussion protocol due to a head injury.
Diggs reported the injury to the Cowboys' medical staff on Friday morning, prompting an evaluation that led to his placement in the concussion protocol.
"It's a part of the business, it's unfortunate," said Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer. "Obviously, I want what's best for Trevon and I certainly am wishing him well."
Schottenheimer emphasized the team's readiness to adapt, mentioning the potential for players like Trikweze Bridges and Kalyn Carson to step up in Diggs' absence.
