CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The fiancé of a Clark County woman found dead in a hotel room earlier this year believes her alleged killer deserves more than life in prison.

A federal grand jury indicted Brian Epperson on Thursday on two counts of distributing methamphetamine that killed two people.

Reacheal Dawson and Kristen Morris died on separate occasions and in separate counties earlier this year. They both were found to have overdosed in rooms allegedly rented by Epperson.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Zach Haney said investigating related cases that are in different counties and jurisdictions presents its challenges, but receiving an indictment is an important step in moving the case forward.
