LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Residents at an east Las Vegas apartment complex are frustrated after a homeless encampment has returned to a private lot behind their homes.
People living at the Casa Bonita Apartments near Hinkle Drive and North 23rd Street said they feel trapped watching this crisis unfold just feet from their homes. The encampment gets cleared, but the people never really go away. It's a problem their community knows all too well.
"Drugs, people walking around here zombied out looking crazy, yelling, screaming, cussing. It's an inconvenience for us where we have to pay so much money to live," said a neighbor.
