Spirit Airlines announced it will furlough 365 pilots and downgrade up to 170 more in early 2026 as part of ongoing restructuring efforts.

The airline, which filed for bankruptcy twice within a year, aims to cut $100 million annually in pilot expenses to conserve cash.
