PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - A Multnomah County man convicted of killing two former business partners was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 35 years on Friday, according to the district attorney’s office.
In August, a jury found 24-year-old Jobanpreet Singh guilty of second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, four counts of unlawful use of a weapon and three counts of recklessly endangering another person.
This started on May 3, 2023, when police were called to the report of two men shot outside a smoke shop in Southwest Portland on Barbur Boulevard.
The men, Dilraj-Pal and his brother Guriq-Bal Singh, both died at the scene.
Jobanpreet Singh was also there and was arrested.
