HOUSTON — Houston is gearing up for the 2026 World Cup next summer, and fans are already spending big money to secure their seats at NRG Stadium.

According to FIFA, one million tickets have been sold since sales began earlier this month. That number covers all matches in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Houston is set to host seven matches at NRG Stadium, and demand is high. The first buyers were selected from a lottery of 4.5 million people.
