The Brantford Bulldogs got the better of the Brampton Steelheads on the road on Friday.
Jumping out to a 3-0 lead only to have the Steelheads tie things up, Brantford pulled away in the third period on its way to a 7-3 victory.
The Bulldogs (7-0-1-1) won their fourth game in a row and remain the only team in the OHL without a loss in regulation. The Steelheads fall to 4-4.
Sam McCue gave Brantford a 2-0 lead before Marek Vanacker added a late tally to make it 3-0 after the first period.
Brampton then scored three straight times in the middle period before Vanacker added another late goal to give the visitors a 4-3 lead.
In the third, Adam Benak, Edison Engle and Jake O’Brien scored to seal the win for Brantford.
