MADISON -- The Winslow Black Raiders scored a 56-15 win over the Madison Bulldogs on Friday night in a game where they rushed for over 200 yards in the first quarter.
On the very first play of the night, Raiders quarterback Leim Fortin faked everyone out with a handoff to senior fullback Broddik Bimpson, who took off and ran all the way inside the 20-yard line before being brought down.
That set up a short rushing score from Hassan Hobbi who put the Raiders up 6-0 in a hurry.
On the Bulldogs first drive, facing third down, sophomore quarterback Devin Giroux looked deep downfield for his receiver, but Raiders safety Quincy Nesbitt beat him to the ball and made a wonderful grab for the turnover. Winslow would score on that drive as well.
