For the Frontenacs it was the second loss of the season at home to Ottawa. The 67’s beat Kingston in the season opener back on Sept. 19. The Frontenacs were without several of the regulars in the opener, but no excuses could be made a month into the season Article content Article content

The 67’s outshot Kingston 31-13. Goaltender Gavin Betts kept the Frontenacs in the game, and couldn’t be blamed on the goals by Jack Dever midway through the first period and Filip Ekberg on a second-period powerplay. Nic Whitehead added an empty-net goal in the last two minutes.

Ryder Fetterolf was only tested a couple of times in the Ottawa goal in picking up the shutout.
