JOHNSTOWN - In a low-scoring contest, the Johnstown football team edged Broadalbin-Perth 7-6 in a Class C West Division game Friday at Knox Field.

Senior quarterback Cole Downing completed 12 of 14 passes for 152 yards for the Sir Bills. All but one of those completions came in the second half. Maxx Miller had four catches for 69 yards in the second half for Johnstown, while Matthew Livingston had three catches for 54 yards all in the second half.
