TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Savannah Guthrie, co-host of the "Today Show" and a former KVOA alum, made a special visit to the University of Arizona campus.

Guthrie was in town to shoot segments for "Today's" upcoming Fan Fest, which celebrates the show's loyal viewers across the country, including those in Tucson.

"It's really just a way to say thank you to our fans, because we live in a day and age where you can get your news, it doesn't even have to be on television so this bond that we feel with our audience is real and it's a real opportunity for us to get out and be close to our fans who feel like family," said Guthrie.

Fan Fest kicks off this Monday on the "Today Show."
