TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Dozens gathered Friday at the University of Arizona to protest a new compact from the Trump administration. This agreement would provide the university with preferential access to federal funds if it agrees to not use diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies in enrollment and hiring.

"City council has rejected this compact, the student body has rejected this compact. You must do the same," said Tre Rhodes of the University of Arizona College Democrats.
