The nomination process for 121 seats in the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections concluded on Friday. Polling is scheduled for November 6.

Despite the completion of nominations, internal seat-sharing disputes continue within the Mahagathbandhan.

The Congress has announced 48 candidates, while the CPIML has declared 18. The RJD, however, has not released any official candidate list.

On the final day of nominations, RJD, Congress, and VIP distributed party symbols to their respective candidates.

Mahagathbandhan parties are contesting against each other in 10 constituencies.

Within the alliance, Congress and RJD have fielded candidates against each other in five seats, while VIP and Congress are in direct contest in one seat.
