BEMIDJI — Every college hockey program experiences Murphy’s Law at some point or another.

Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

It happened to the Bemidji State men’s hockey team a year ago against Michigan Tech at the Sanford Center. The Beavers allowed six third-period goals against Michigan Tech in a 9-5 loss.

BSU has been on the other side of it as well. Two years ago, after surrendering five goals in the first period on the road against Minnesota State, the Beavers scored three times in the final six minutes to escape with a 7-6 win.

Long story short, Murphy’s Law catches up with everybody eventually. On Friday night at the Sanford Center, it had its crosshairs on the Beavers.
