LONGMONT — Much like the roads during a cold Colorado winter, Skyline’s Servando Morales was slick as ice when the Falcons faced off with Longmont at Everly-Montgomery Field on Friday night.

From start to finish in their 55-33 win, the senior quarterback continuously gave the Trojans the cold shoulder, taking part in every single touchdown that the Falcons scored. He said that his ability to adapt has been a major boon for their offense all year.

“I used to rely on my feet a lot,” Morales said. “I was the run-first quarterback, which I still am, but I felt like I got a lot better at throwing the ball. Now we’re a true spread team, instead of just myself relying on running the whole time.”
