VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) - Two men were killed Friday evening in what investigators believe was a murder-suicide at a 7-Eleven in Vancouver, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and emergency crews responded around 5:22 p.m. to the store at 6212 NE Highway 99 after reports of a shooting. When first responders arrived, they found two men inside the store with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Investigators said the man who was killed worked at the store. The other man, believed to be the shooter, did not appear to have any connection to him, according to the sheriff’s office.

The agency’s Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation. Officials said early evidence indicates the shooting was a murder-suicide.
