Rob Edwards says Morgan Whittaker’s efforts deserve as much championing as his goal, as the Middlesbrough forward scored a crucial goal for his side against Ipswich Town.
Whittaker fired Boro into a 2-0 lead on Friday evening and it proved decisive as they went on to win 2-1. It was Whittaker’s first goal for the club after a difficult ten-month period, and ensured Edwards’ side recorded a statement victory over their promotion rivals.
