WASHOUGAL — Royce Jones ran for 108 yards and four touchdowns as the Panthers maintained their stronghold on first place in the 2A GSHL by blanking R.A. Long 62-0 at Fishback Stadium Friday.
Tripp Leifsen added two passing touchdowns as part of Washougal’s nine-touchdown onslaught in the first half. The Panthers scored on each of their first two plays from scrimmage on offense and got three total touchdowns from their defense and special teams.
Riley Young accounted for 85 all-purpose yards to lead the Lumberjacks.
Washougal (5-0, 6-1) hosts Columbia River next Friday, while R.A. Long (0-5, 0-7) hosts Ridgefield.
