WARREN – St. Clair Shores Lakeview’s offense isn’t complex.
The Huskies mainly rush the football behind a towering and sizable offensive line but keep teams honest with an occasional pass play at the right times and they do have some speed that can get into open space and move quickly.
Lakeview jettisoned out to a 16-0 advantage Friday, had a kickoff return in the second quarter, forced some fumbles, and completed enough passes down the stretch to gain first downs and kill off the clock. The end result was a 30-27 victory over Utica Eisenhower in a Macomb Area Conference crossover game at Warren Cousino.
It is believed to be the first-ever win for Lakeview over Eisenhower.
