New Delhi, Oct 18: In an inspiring act of courage and medical expertise, Sepoy Sunil, an Ambulance Assistant from the 456 Field Hospital, saved the life of an eight-month-old infant who went into sudden respiratory arrest onboard the Rajdhani Express en route to Dibrugarh.
The incident occurred at around 4:30 PM on October 13, 2025, in the S4 coach of the train, when the infant became unresponsive and showed no signs of breathing or pulse. Panic quickly spread among passengers, and the situation worsened when the child’s mother fainted from shock.
