Despite a disappointing loss last week, the University of Toledo has the opportunity to even its conference record against another rookie head coach in Kent State’s Mark Carney.

A win would keep the Rockets in contention for a Mid-American Conference championship game berth, and they have done that at the Glass Bowl so far this season.

The Golden Flashes, however, couldn’t enter this game more confident. Kent State defeated Massachusetts 42-0 last week for its first MAC win in three years. While Toledo head coach Jason Candle said the preparation this week won’t change, his team is ready for aggressive and up-tempo play-calling.
