The Executive Engineer of Unakoti district has strongly denied the allegations made by the Unakoti District BMS affiliated Contractors’ Association, calling the accusations of demanding a 20% bribe baseless and politically motivated.

Speaking to local media, the engineer clarified that all bill approvals are processed strictly in accordance with administrative procedures and that there is no factual basis behind the charges. He further stated that the false allegations were being circulated to cover up a recent assault incident against him.
