Saurashtra’s left-arm spinner Dharmendrasinh Jadeja delivered a remarkable performance, securing seven wickets for 124 runs, effectively dismantling Karnataka’s batting lineup.

The left-arm spinner achieved his 25th First-Class five-wicket haul and reached a milestone of 400 wickets in red-ball cricket to bowl the visitors out for 372 in their first innings on the second day of the Ranji Trophy Group B match on Thursday.

Karnataka resumed their innings at 295 for five but could only add 77 runs before Jadeja wreaked havoc. Smaran Ravichandran, who had scored a half-century, added just 11 runs to his overnight tally, finishing with 77. Veteran Shreyas Gopal contributed 56 off 95 balls, hitting four fours and two sixes, while Shikhar Shetty scored 41, helping Karnataka reach 372.
