Star India spinner Varun Chakravarthy has admitted that he has had his struggles with money and his typical middle-class mindset meant that his only investments were fixed deposits, adding that he still thinks twice while making big purchases, even as he earns in crores as an Indian cricketer.
Chakravarthy admitted that his typical middle-class mindset made him aware of money’s power.
Having started off as an architect and being a late-bloomer, Chakravarthy has often narrated how life wasn’t extremely easy-going for him.
“I have had my struggles with money. The only investments I knew were FDs (fixed deposits). My typical middle-class mindset. I know how powerful money is. If something is very powerful, you will have to use it to its full potential," Chakravarthy said while speaking on
