A man, 54, has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a crash with a van in Catford this morning (Saturday, October 17).

The collision took place between the van and injured man, a pedestrian, on Lewisham High Street at around 7am.

An air ambulance attended the scene, alongside police, paramedics and the fire brigade.

No arrests have taken place and enquiries continue.

This is the third emergency services incident to take place in Catford this week.

A man died after being stabbed in Rushey Green, while another was rushed to hospital after being stabbed at a separate incident in Mountsfield Park on Wednesday.
