The latest strike by Canada Post workers has reinforced two undeniable truths, which Canadians already knew. First, is that we still need a version of Canada Post. Second, we don’t need the version we currently have.
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers, (CUPW) has decided to switch to rotating strikes after another fizzled attempt to bring the nation to its knees.The strategy failed as, once again, CUPW leaders somehow missed the obvious lessons of their previous strategies.

To address the first point in the lead paragraph, Canada does still need a working post office. Business still relies on CP to get mail and packages delivered. Importantly, there are many areas of our great nation which are not served by private companies and so residents and businesses in those
