More than $82 million in federal infrastructure funding is being directed to Manitoba communities this year, part of Ottawa’s ongoing effort to help municipalities repair roads, expand transit, and improve essential public facilities.
The announcement was made on Friday in Winnipeg by Housing and Infrastructure Minister Gregor Robertson, who said the investment will support 137 municipalities, towns, and rural areas across the province through the Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF).
