A “No Kings” protest in Downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday is one of more than a dozen planned around Western Pennsylvania and more than 2,500 nationwide, organizers say, four months after millions of Americans marched in what became known as the “Day of Defiance,” a direct response to President Trump’s military parade in Washington.

The Downtown gathering outside the City-County Building begins at 12:30 p.m.

Indivisible Pittsburgh, responsible for organizing the rally, said Saturday’s return is meant to show that momentum hasn’t faded.

“We reject strongman politics and corruption and will fight until we get the representation we deserve,” the group wrote in a news release.
