TULSA — Although only a few months had passed, Emma Hearn experienced a surreal feeling returning to Tulsa as one of "The Outsiders."

"It's like we've been building to this moment for so long, even getting to be here a couple months ago and meet people and see the theater and a lot of the different sites from the movie . There's so much history, so getting to actually be here and arrive at this moment feels very, very special," Hearn told told The Oklahoman during a red-carpet event Wednesday, Oct. 8 outside the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
