The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Saturday for the 10th time in 11 days, decreasing seven-tenths of a cent to $4.683.
The average price has dropped 4.6 cents over the past 11 days, including six-tenths of a cent Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The run began with five consecutive decreases, then was interrupted by an increase of one-tenth of a cent Monday. The run resumed on Tuesday.
The average price is 3.3 cents less than one week ago and 4.7 cents lower than one month ago but 9.4 cents more than one year ago. It has decreased $1.81 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
