WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - U.S. Route 5 will be closed from 11 p.m. on Saturday night through 6 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Riverdale Street between Morgan Road and Elm Street will be completely closed to all traffic in order to conduct stop log flood wall testing.

If you need to head that way during that time, there will be a detour at Piper Road between East Elm Street and Morgan Road.
