Aldi is pulling a popular dinner item from its shelves after discovering it could pose a serious health risk to certain customers .
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) announced on Saturday, October 18 that the budget supermarket had issued an urgent recall after finding some of its steaks contained an ingredient not listed on the packaging.
The Ashfields 30 Day Matured Thin Cut Beef Steaks contains milk, but this allergen isn't mentioned on the wrapper.
The FSA explained: "This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. This is due to a packaging error."
The affected packs weigh 360g and have a use-by date of October 26, 2025, reports the Mirror .
