EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State University is offering a new class this fall that examines the global phenomenon of Taylor Swift.
The course, titled “ISS-210 Society and the Individual: The Taylor Swift Phenomenon,” is taught by Professor Emily Muhich and has enrolled over 200 students.
Muhich said the class does not just focus on Taylor Swift and her music but also focuses on Swift’s impact on pop culture, the world economy, politics, environment and gender-related topics.
