ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating after a woman was found shot inside her car early Saturday.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, at around 1 a.m. Saturday, officers were notified of a ShotSpotter call at the 1600 block of Biddle, which was then “almost immediately” turned to a shooting call.
At the scene, officers saw a car against a fire hydrant with a 25-year-old woman inside, who had been shot. EMS responded and transported her to a hospital, where she is listed in critical-unstable condition, “with death being imminent,” according to police.
Homicide Detectives are handling the investigation.
