WENDELL, N.C. (WNCN) -- A Zebulon man and a Durham woman were arrested separately early Saturday in the same Lizard Lick Road area of Wake County, with one accused in a 139 mph chase with a crash and the other of DWI while driving aggressively in the wrong direction on U.S. 64, officials said.

A crash was reported along Lizard Lick Road at U.S. 64 just after 2 a.m. Saturday, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

Victor Manuel Rios, 26, of Zebulon, and Ernique Leeasia Washington, 22, of Durham, were both involved in incidents in the area of the crash scene, according to arrest records.

Manuel Rios led officers on a chase that started along Interstate 87 at Wendell Boulevard and hit speeds of 139 mph along U.S. 64, where there is a 70 mph speed limit, according to
