RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Protests are underway nationwide and in the Triangle as people rally against the current U.S. president, Donald Trump, whose disapproval rating is increasing in the latest poll numbers.
Multiple organizers — from labor unions to human rights organizers to even Planned Parenthood — gathered once again under the nationwide protest No Kings Day.
CBS 17 previously reported their first protest in June, churning out thousands of people throughout the Triangle area, according to organizers at the events. That protest was during the 250th anniversary of the U.S. military, as well as President Trump's 79th birthday.
