Aldi is pulling a dinner staple from its shelves after it was found to pose a potential health risk for certain customers. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) revealed on Saturday that the discount chain had issued the warning following the discovery that some of its steaks contained an undisclosed ingredient on the label.
The Ashfields 30 Day Matured Thin Cut Beef Steaks contains milk, yet this isn't mentioned on the packaging.
The FSA stated: "This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents. This is due to a packaging error."
The affected packs weigh 360g and have a use-by date of October 26, 2025, reports the Mirror .
