There is a chance for thunderstorms Saturday with a low end severe weather threat.
A cold front will move into North Texas today. Showers and thunderstorms will develop by midmorning west of Fort Worth. They will move east across DFW through the afternoon. By Saturday evening, it will clear out as a cold front moves through. Temperatures will drop overnight with a gusty wind.
Some of the storms today could become severe. Damaging wind gusts being the greatest threat, but small hail is also possible.
Sunday will be much nicer, with abundant sunshine and highs only in the 70s.
