ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla (WKRG) – The Florida Highway Patrol is requesting help identifying a woman who was struck by a vehicle Friday night on U.S. Highway 90.

State troopers say the incident happened around Friday at 7:42 p.m. on U.S. Highway 90 near State Road 295.

They say a white woman in her late 50s to early 60s was attempting to cross U.S. Highway 90 when she was hit by a sedan.

The unidentified woman was taken to a Sacred Heart Hospital treatment. The Highway Patrol says she was critically injured.

The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.

State troopers say the pedestrian was wearing a yellow and black dress and white Crocs at the time of the incident.

They say the woman was previously seen shopping at Walmart on Mobile Highway.
