MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A suspect has turned themselves in to police in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in September.

According to the Mobile Police Department, Jamykhial Spanks, 22, turned herself in to police on Monday, Oct. 20. She was previously identified as a suspect in a September shooting.

On Sept. 30, officers responded to the Brill Road and Dauphin Island Parkway intersection for a report of a shooting. The victim told police that someone she knew fired a gun at her. She received a minor injury due to debris.

Spanks is charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, menacing, and violating probation.
