TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A head-on collision has left one person dead and two injured in Talladega County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), around 6:35 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 60-year-old Sonia Stoddard, from Alexandria, collided head-on with a 2016 Jeep Patriot.
ALEA says that Stoddard was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to ALEA, the driver of the Jeep and a passenger in Stoddard’s car were airlifted to University of Alabama (UAB) hospital to be treated for their injuries.
ALEA says the crash occurred on State Route 21 near Garrison Lane, about five miles north of Talladega city limits.
