Chris Davies blamed Jack Robinson’s ‘lack of discipline’ for Birmingham City’s failure to get anything out of their game against Hull City.

Hull became the first visiting team to win at St Andrew’s during Davies’ tenure in a fiery encounter on Saturday afternoon.

Robinson’s day started badly when he put through his own net in the 11th minute and the Tigers added further goals from Regan Slater and Joe Gelhardt to seal their 3-2 victory.

Blues trailed 2-1 and were in the ascendancy in the 59th minute when a goal-kick was awarded instead of a corner after Marc Leonard’s shot deflected behind and Robinson voiced his displeasure to referee Ruebyn Ricardo.
