MINOT, ND (KXNET) — The Minot fire department was dispatched just before 6:30 a.m. following reports of a mobile home fire in the 3100 block of 11 Avenue S.E.

Crews arrived at 6:33 a.m. and found heavy flames coming from the front bedroom of the home. Firefighters extinguished the flames and confirmed no one was inside. According to the Minot fire department, the fire was contained to the bedroom, where it started. Two cats were found dead in that bedroom.

The Minot fire department reports one person and four dogs were displaced following the fire.
