WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — This week, the Williston City Commission received its 2024 annual audit, which showed the city to be in strong financial standing.
Williston Finance Director Hercules Cummings says the audit serves as yet another testament to the city continuing to meet its debt service obligations while also maintaining its reserves and remaining strong across all departments.
Despite initially projecting a deficit for the year, city leaders say they were able to turn things around and continue making strides in Williston's financial growth.
