MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Halloween may still be more than a week away, but that's not stopping people from across Minot and the surrounding areas from getting into the spooky spirit. On Saturday, the Roosevelt Park Zoo held its annual Boo at the Zoo, where families could get their trick-or-treating on a bit early while also getting the chance to check out some animals along the way.
"It's a good quality time for us, making memories," attendee Joshua Eckel said. "It's very important for us to spend time as a family. We both work quite a bit, so when we get out and we have our free time, we like to do things that we'll remember. It's a good memory for all of us."
Local community groups from across the Magic City made their own respective cameos, as people made their way throughout the zoo.
