BAY VILLAGE, Oh. - The Bay Village community gathered on October 12, 2025, to dedicate a new Ohio Historical Marker commemorating the 75th anniversary of the local League of Women Voters chapter, honoring more than seven decades of civic engagement and voter education.
The marker was unveiled at the Rose Hill Museum, formerly the site of Bay Village’s first library where the local League chapter held its earliest meetings after its establishment in 1948, and shortly after World War II.
“This was a very optimistic time in our country,” said Cynthia White, president of the Bay Village League of Women Voters.
