CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge was not present for a Tuesday town hall devoted to public safety.
Chief Theetge was supposed to be at the Partnering for Public Safety event in Bond Hill, along with other police chiefs from Hamilton County.
Due to prior work commitments, she was unable to attend the event hosted by the Hamilton County Chiefs of Police.
Tuesday’s town hall was the first of a two-part discussion where community members get the chance to ask police leaders about public safety in Hamilton County.
The discussion in Bond Hill on Tuesday raised different concerns than the town hall held last month in Delhi.
Residents voiced concerns about diversity at an administrative level, police departments’ budgets, and building trust in the community.
